Shoe Lovers: Meet Emy Mack
We can’t really get enough of Project Runway this season. If you tuned into the August 29 episode, you got a front-row look at our client, Emy Mack.
Emerging shoe designer, Emy Mack, inspired Helen Castillo’s winning look on last week’s episode of Project Runway: Shoes First. Designers were challenged to select a pair of shoes and design a look around them. Bradon McDonald and Helen Castillo both selected Emy Mack’s for their muse.
Designer Helen selected the Emy Mack “Elizabeth” stud toe bootie in Nappa black. (Try saying that 5 times fast.) She designed a tailored LBD moment with a matching shrug cape, an on-trend and chic compliment to these leather booties. In the workroom, mentor Tim Gunn even said Helen’s design was “very Kate Middleton.” Could there be a better compliment? The even better news is, you can pre-order an autographed pair of these Limited Edition Elizabeth booties online at www.emymack.com!
Although designer Bradon landed in the bottom, Nina Garcia loved the Emy Mack Sienna flats he chose, saying “I’m not a fan of flat shoes, but those flat shoes are fabulous!” Designer Helen’s Parisian-chic, tailored LBD and matching shrug cape won top honors, along with Emy Mack’s Elizabeth stud toe bootie.
Keep your eye on Emy Mack, as the collection lands on upcoming must-have lists!
Stay tuned for a sneak peek at the Emy Mack spring line, coming soon.
